No previous experience is required for this trainee welder job – just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for hands-on work.
Unifabs offer a range of welding services including MIG welding, TIG welding, and spot welding to transform manufactured parts into welded assemblies.
The role:
Full-time, Permanent
Day shift
Full-time, 40 hours basic per week.
Duties
- Assisting experienced welders with fabrication and welding tasks.
- Learning MIG/TIG welding techniques.
- Operating machinery and using hand tools.
- Reading and interpreting basic technical drawings.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
The candidate:
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Previous experience in a workshop or with tools is a bonus, but not essential.
