CNC Metal Bending

Equipped with a large fleet of CNC Press Brake machines, we are set up to process high volumes of parts with accuracy and repeatability.

UK metal bending services

Our metal bending centre currently operates seven Amada press brakes, with a further press brake dedicated to prototyping. As a UK subcontract sheet metal manufacturer, this comprehensive range of press brake machines coupled with our experienced operatives enable us to offer metal bending services covering an impressive range of requirements.

What is CNC metal bending or press braking?

Metal bending, metal folding or press braking, is a process used to bend (or fold) sheet metal into a desired shape or form. This is achieved by forcing the material with a top tool into a bottom tool or ‘V’. Different tools are available to produce different forms within the metal.

Press brake tooling

We hold a comprehensive range of Amada tooling allowing us to produce a wide range of different forms and radii, including safety edges.

Not only do we hold an extensive range of tooling, but we also maximise productivity through the use of automatic tool changer (ATC) technology on our Amada HRB.

The ATC can drastically reduce set up times by up to 80% when compared to manually loading tools, meaning more machine up-time. It also frees up operators to perform other tasks, increasing overall efficiency and reducing lead times.

Press Brake with ATC

Unlike traditional press brakes, the Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) integrated into the HRB eliminates time-consuming manual tool setups making it perfect for complex tool setups and varying production runs.

3 m and 4 m Amada HFP Press Brakes

The HFP series press brakes from Amada achieve precise bending results over the entire length of the machine. With two 3 m's and a 4 m HFP press brake available, these machines fulfil the most demanding of requirements.

2 m and 2.5 m Amada HFE 3i Series Press Brakes

The HFE series press brakes from Amada are suited to demanding complex components with tight tolerances. With two 2 m's and a 2.5 m HFE press brake available, these machines offer the ultimate in bend accuracy and precision.

1 m Electric Press Brake

Ideal for the manufacture of small, complex parts, the EG-4010 press brake from Amada offers compact, fast and precise bending, with faster cycle times to maximise productivity and an ergonomic design for operator comfort.
