Universal workstation for BITO storage systems

Brief

• To design and manufacture a universal workstation to work in a large mainly automated picking system
• System for a major online retailer with installations throughout Europe
• To be flexible in design so the workstation can adapt to volumes and type of work

What we did

• Met with client to understand requirements and restrictions
• Designed several concepts alongside our client
• Produced a refined working prototype and for approval

Outcome

• Manufactured 2000 units
• Delivered units across Europe
• Possible further rollouts as online retailer expands throughout Europe
