Press Brake Setter/Operator – Night Shift

Operator using HMI to ready the machine for the next product for press braking

Unifabs is a successful, forward thinking company, experiencing sustained growth who are currently seeking to expand its team of Press Brake Setters/Operators.

You will be responsible for operating, setting and programming the Amada press brakes at Unifabs. The successful candidates will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, are experienced in setting complex jobs and are able to inspect their own work.

The role:

Full-time, Permanent

Night shift

16:30 – 03:00 Monday to Thursday

Full-time, 40 hours basic per week, overtime available.

The candidate:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Must have 2+ years of experience as a Press Brake Setter
  • Experience with Amada press brakes would be a distinct advantage
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experienced in setting complex jobs and working to tight tolerances
  • Able to inspect own work
  • Proactive and able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Punctual and willing to do overtime
  • Flexible

The package:

Salary: £15.00 – £18.50 per hour dependant on experience (including night shift allowance)

  • Free on-site parking
