Subcontractor of the Year 2024
Last Friday, Unifabs celebrated a significant achievement as we were honoured with the Subcontractor of the Year award at the prestigious MMMA 75th Anniversary Gala Dinner and Awards for the subcontract manufacturing services we deliver. The event, held at the Copthorne Hotel, brought together industry leaders and innovators for a night dedicated to recognising excellence within the sheet metal, metal forming, and fabrication industries.
The ceremony was expertly hosted by Andrew Castle of Touchwave Media, who guided us through an engaging evening that highlighted the contributions and successes of professionals in the industry.

The selection process for the awards was rigorous, reflecting the high standards of the metalworking community. Competing against three other strong finalists, our submission was distinguished by our commitment to growth and technology, resilience, our approach to subcontract manufacturing partnerships and customer service, and compelling testimonials from our valued clients.

An unforgettable evening
The Gala Awards were more than just a celebration of individual achievements; they embodied the spirit of collaboration within the metalworking industry. The evening featured a variety of entertaining segments, including an inspiring talk by our after-dinner speaker, Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards. Eddie’s story of resilience and determination captivated the audience and served as a reminder of the power of pursuing one’s ambitions.
In addition to the awards, the event supported the charity CEO Sleepout, dedicated to tackling homelessness across the UK. Attendees generously donated over £1,000 to support emergency food banks and shelter initiatives for those in need.
